3rd May - 9th May
- Day 1: Arrived in New York and headed off to the Yankee Stadium to watch the Yankees v Baltimore Orioles.
- Day 2: Started the day taking the Staten Island ferry past the Statue of Liberty. In the afternoon we walked around the financial district and over to South Street Seaport where we took another boat trip around the base of Manhattan.
- Day 3: Walked from our hotel over to the United Nations building and through Midtown East before going up the Rockefeller Centre, ending the day wandering around Central Park.
- Day 4: Went to Soho and walked past City Hall and across the Brooklyn Bridge before having lunch in Chinatown and ending the day at Washington Square.
- Day 5: Headed to Greenwich Village before walking past the Flatiron building to the Empire State building where we viewed Manhattan from the top. Afterwards, we headed over to Times Square and watched Green Day's American Idiot in the evening.
- Day 6: Caught the ferry over to Ellis Island immigration museum before heading back to Manhattan and Ground Zero/World Trade Center site.
- Day 7: Headed to Katz's Deli for lunch and walked along the new High Line park to the Meat Packing district before heading up to Central Park again and over to see the Guggenheim museum.
